EVERY time my sister or her husband refer to each other, it's by the use of "wife" or "husband"

I would go INSANE if I was only referred to as "wife"!!!

Doesn't bother her though - she likes it. I think it gives her purpose or something....

I know it's not my life, but REALLY! It gets damned annoying whenever we socialise / speak / text / facebook!

Is it just a phase they're going through, that they think it's funny, or have they always done this? sounds weird to me!

My aunt and her husband were married the year before I married my DH.

At our wedding they called each other "person" and kissed each other every single time they said it.

Imagine "would you like another drink person" [kiss] "yes please person" [kiss]

Or "I've missed you my person" [kiss] "I've missed you too person" [kiss] said when one or the other of them went more than ten steps away and all said in a baby voice.

There was a moment when we cut the cake that I seriously considered taking the knife to one of them instead. "Remember this from our wedding person" [kiss]. Aaaaagggghhhh!
