To think he should apologise to DS's teacher tomorow?

I asked OH to call the school to re-arrange DS's consultation evening tomorow. He kept putting it off, making excuses etc but I couldn't do it as I was at work so I got cross with him and he reluctantly agreed to do it.

This is what he said to the teacher:

"The pigeon wants to know if we can change appointments coo coo"

The teacher was like "sorry??"

OH still not apologised and teacher probably thinks we're on crack.

I told him I want him to apologise to the teacher when we go tomorow whereas he believes it would be better to let the teacher forget about it. I don't think he will!!

It made me laugh OP.

Probably it made the teacher laugh too once s/he realised what was going on.

I bet it made a nice change from the usual conversations about arrangements. I don't think your DH should have to apologise.

I read it as the OP's husband playing at spies or something, giving codenames to change the rendezvous time just for a laugh to lighten up a boring chore.

I'm sure the teacher has been given more reason than that to wonder if a parent is on crack.

I don't get it Hmm

Oh I see, yes that is funny Grin Grin

ahem sorry OP

shame the teacher didn't get it either...

HeadfirstForHalos · 09/06/2011 14:19

Yes it is quite funny when you get it! I hope the teacher "got it" eventually Grin

Pandemoniaa · 09/06/2011 14:20

Hmmmm. If I'd been the teacher subjected to his "wit" I'd have told him to cluck off.
