YANBU I have been looking in Active Conversations and there is very little I want to read.

Plus I have started to hide threads where the OP can't even be bothered to preview the title and hence mucks it up. I (unfairly quite probably) judge .

I must confess that I have developed a B3ta habit. It makes me laugh.

There is not much which is rational being posted here. So what is the originator of this thread really trying to achieve?

Started the same thread as this weeks ago. I think that this is how MN is now. it is not an invasion or a one off thing but just how it is.

I feel I may be leaving MN soon. Today has been horrid on here. :( I feel sick at some of the discussions.

I was also at my GP's this morning and she had told me to go on nice pregnancy sites, I told her I was on MN and she laughed and said " That's worse than googling illnesses! It's a load of loons on there now!".

Never been on NM, don't use HUN, may give the occasional XX,(in my defence I am rather affectionate), haven't sworn at anyone yet, I admit to having started rather tedious AIBU a couple of times,(didn't mean to, the last one just kind of took off and is still going) what does that make me? Hun, normal, boring. Go on tell me, I promise not to be offended. Well if I am I will flounce and name change, and come back as someone else. :o

Agree with Shiney - its been odd since the election and then from about Feb this year it got odder.

Am coming on here less and less.

One person can't be especially entertaining by themselves though- it requires a critical mass of intelligent funny posters for the banter to flow. And the Huns are overpowering us.

I am assuming that people have numbers after their names as a lot more people are using this site due to publicity. I know i picked a few usernames before xmas and nothing was available. Most people i assume would just stick a number after their username after repeatedly being told the name is already taken.

I know but when you get 3 or 4 chuked back you think sod it and stick a number on. I might change mine actually if someone tells me how i do it

One happy outcome from all this crap recently is that I feel positively warm towards posters whom I previously considered complete arseholes.
