i would say it was probably her 'just had my one good foot trod on' behaviour. i.e; she was in pain and had a knee jerk reaction to the pain. (really no pun intended there, i just couldn't think of a better phrase to use)

I am viewing this thread very tongue in cheek but dont want to mock you in any way, I had a serious thread turn a bit odd like this last Friday and so dont want to come across as mocking you. but in hindsight my thread was badly timed and after reading it back was actually quite comical.

there probably was no need for her to react quite as she did but maybe she was having a bad day, or has alot of pain etc. its always best to just turn the other cheek.

Now i wouldn't have daid she was a cow at all, just someone whose foot hurt like hell. You know i thought i was intolerent, apparantly not.

Ok I think your a moron...should I tell you? No, your probably having a bad day and acting abit precious over your dd. So I'll just smile to my self and hope you'll realise. Your dd hurt someone, by aciddent. She said sorry and if I was you, I'd have apologised to her to and told dd just to be a careful. Not told her off just in a light, not to worry, way. She hurt someone else.

Thinking outside the box-
she might have had a leg ulcer.
she might have already lost a leg-alot of foot ulcers start by trauma and can result in amputation.
alot of diabetics are overweight.
I would have sat down and f*ing Cried if I was her
I would say her reaction was more shock that nastiness.She might have been terrified of the same thing happening again.
Say nothing apart from apologise and move away.
