BBC and COMPULSORY LICENSE FEE...(Paid by rich and poor alike.)

It has been suggested that the Beebs automatic cash-flow from rich and poor, should be looked at as the fee gets closer to £300 a year.

Victoria Derbyshire mentions this on her TWITTER site. (Dont know if she has ever done it on her programme.?)

You will notice that when a big name has a book out; they get interviewed on many BBC TV and radion shows. (They are usually rich and could be charged a fee for the free book plug.)

There will be many other ideas as to how the license could be REDUCED or the money RAISED by other means.

Do you have any ideas. ? Or are we going to sit back and watch the license fee go to £300 a year? (Its food for thought.

Victoria Derbyshire and Gabby Logan may well have ideas on this . Ask them if you feel like doing so.

Lol at that's what devil says about the bible Grin

claig · 03/06/2011 21:37

'rabbit right wingers'

who are they? Are you referring to Bug Bunny?

Gster · 03/06/2011 21:38

And as Ghandi said ( as we've moved to biblical reference )

' I love your Christ, but not your christians, they are so un christ like'

claig · 03/06/2011 21:39

Bugs Bunny

Gster · 03/06/2011 21:40

Rabbid = Rabbit

i think i prefer rabbit though

claig · 03/06/2011 21:41

'I love your Christ, but not your christians, they are so un christ like'

that's not very charitable of him. I suppose he was better than all of the Christians in the world; missionaries helping the sick; nuns murdered abroad while trying to alleviate suffering.

ShellyBoobs · 03/06/2011 21:44

"ShellyBooBs, there's no reason to be shocked at the truth. Once the fog of lies has cleared, you will see that you have been lied to about the Daily Mail."

Sorry? Exactly who has lied to me about the Daily Mail? I really don't need the help others to make my own decision about a vitriolic, hateful rag like the bloody Mail, thanks!

TimeWasting · 03/06/2011 21:44

Foreign student turned anti-government activist hates Nuns!

Top Daily Mail headline right there Claig, you're good at this.

claig · 03/06/2011 21:47

Sorry, I thought you may have possibly not read that august publication, and had been swayed by certain disreputable MNers, who trash that good paper's reputation all too frequently.

ShellyBoobs · 03/06/2011 21:47

Isn't it a free country? Why should they be forced to pay if they don't watch it.

claig, we'd be pretty much screwed if no one paid towards any public service they didn't use, wouldn't we?

claig · 03/06/2011 21:49

TimeWasting, I assume that headline emanates from one of these organs of deceit, these scurrilous spoof magazines which spread lies about one of the nation's greatest institutions.

Gster · 03/06/2011 21:51

I think you're missing the point claig. Ghandi was a very humble man, as was the Christ described in the bible.

Rabbit right wing christians have lot their way amoungst the wicked path paved by past copies of the Daily Fail

ShellyBoobs · 03/06/2011 21:51

...and had been swayed by certain disreputable MNers, who trash that good paper's reputation all too frequently.

Hmmm, you'll find that people other than 'certain disreputable MNers', also find the DM to be a less than savoury newspaper.

claig · 03/06/2011 21:52

Yes, you're right. But with teh BBC we have an alternative. They can raise revenue from advertising, so there is no need to tax the public for it.

TimeWasting · 03/06/2011 21:52

claig you assume wrong. Grin

Gster · 03/06/2011 21:56

And lo said the heavenly angels , read not from the dail mail , for it is the dark path lit by the devil.

Read instead the Guardian that has His word hidden in it's spelling mistakes. HE shall reveal himself , and lo shall command thee to pay the sodding licence fee lest thou wanteth the hell bought forth by wall to wall consumerism

claig · 03/06/2011 21:58

'Ghandi was a very humble man'

No one who denigrates all of the billions of Christians in the world is really a humble man. He is full of arrogance and therefore blind to the truth that there are good Christians in this world, and some of them are far better than him.

Doubtless, a man of his arrogant and scornful character also believed the lies about the Daily Mail, or possibly, even worse, was responsible for propagating them.

TimeWasting · 03/06/2011 22:00

Grin You do know who Ghandi is don't you claig?

You are joking aren't you claig?

claig · 03/06/2011 22:00

Gster, are you not aware that the Guardian is the very paper of Beelzebub himself. Has The Great Deceiver cast his spell over your mind. Read thee the Daily Mail everyday and repent for your sins, and salvation may yet befall thee.

claig · 03/06/2011 22:02

I know who Gandhi is, and I have heard about his reputation. But that quote of his shows his true nature. I no longer believe all the good words spoken about him.

headfairy · 03/06/2011 22:02

Blimey Claig, your Daily Mail worship has gone too far, you've lost all chance of winning this one I'm afraid with your dogged support of that rag.

headfairy · 03/06/2011 22:03

Oh shit, Claig is cod isn't she? Only cod would have the staying power to troll for so long and so convincingly.

TimeWasting · 03/06/2011 22:05

Tory plant sent to waste our time. Sad

claig · 03/06/2011 22:05

No I am not cod. I have heard of the legendary cod, but never read anything by her. All I can say is, if she was a Daily Mail reader then she was a good 'un.

headfairy · 03/06/2011 22:06

Ha, cod for sure! :o
