I mean, we have only lived together for 9 years and have never, except under exceptional circumstances (the shop being sold out of white rolls), used anything but white plain toilet rolls. Even then we pushed the boat out and went for cream.

No quilted crap, no scented rigmarole, no sodding pictures on it.

So why does he suggest that we buy massively overpriced bum wiping material???

I prefer the unbleached stuff. Waitrose call it "champagne" but it's basically wee colour. We did get that triple quilty bum duvet stuff when it was on special offer, but DS1 just used it for some collages and DS2 wrapped himself in it.

I don't like the quilty stuff - its too thick, - makes it hard to 'manoeuvre' (I've tried to spell that word about 5 different ways still looks wrong)

At least he's not suggesting Izal greaseproof paper toilet paper.
