i woke up at half 7 this morning. hubby is not in bed, not downstairs and after several frantic phonecalls, nowhere to be bloody found.

my daughter heard him leave the house at 5.30am as the door closing woke her up.
he has left his mobile at home, no note nothing.
aibu to want to kick his head in?
he has never ever done this before and i am worried as last week he got very upset over something my son said and hasnt really been right since. although when i have tried to talk to him about what is wrong he just says nothing.
i am not impressed!!!!

Oh no, still no news :(

kreecherlivesupstairs · 06/06/2011 00:02

No reply yet to my message. I honestly doubt this is a troll, I recognise the name and there was no drip feeding or anything resembling trollism.

AgentZigzag · 06/06/2011 00:10

Hope fostermum is alright.

I thought about messaging the OP as well, glad you did kreecher.

Can't believe my sarky remark to Mare asking if the OP's a troll got deleted.

Didn't even get to call anyone a fuckwit

mrsjaja · 06/06/2011 13:09

Still no news OP???

ticklebug74 · 06/06/2011 13:09

Please come back fostermum to let us know you are OK! I am going slightly mad with curiousity and concern.

fostermumtomany · 06/06/2011 13:56

hi
he had been in a car accident.
he had gone to asda to get some milk as the corner shop was closed.
he was going round the roundabout near the asda when some smart arse thought he could get round it faster and shunted my hubbys car causing him to go into another car and that car to go into another car.
hubby has a fractured collar bone and broken his right wrist, he also had a concussion and 2 broken ribs from the seat belt, the air bag failed to blow up.
i was phoned by the hospital at 2.45pm despite him arriving there a little after 8.30am. furious was not the word.
he is slowly on the mend now, but the little shit from the other car (17 just passed his test) is denying it was his fault despite there being 9 witnesses to say otherwise.
im just glad he is ok. sorry for having you all worry. i have been busy back and forwards to the hospital and trying to see to the kids etc.
thanks though for all your messages

Phew. Hope he feels better soon and the scrote that hit him gets the full long arm of the law.

slartybartfast · 06/06/2011 14:02

thanks for the update.
real life has a habit of getting in the way, and what real life experience you just had.
glad all is fine now.

Honeydragon · 06/06/2011 14:07

fostermumtomany so glad you know he's safe, you poor thing what a awful thing to happen. No help right now, but thank heavens you have witnesses.

I was furious at my dh once for similar, he turned into be in hospital having his finger sewn back on Hmm

ticklebug74 · 06/06/2011 14:10

So glad to hear he is OK now and on the mend. Wow, what a week you poor thing. Hope you used the pent up anger that you were going to direct to DH and threw it at the hospital for not calling you sooner! And with 9 witnesses the driver at fault does not stand a chance - he should lose his licence if he was speeding! Take care.

PigletJohn · 06/06/2011 14:23

YWBU

Sad
ladymystikal · 06/06/2011 14:49

pigletJohn
for you to out YWBU is a little out of order. obviously she wrote her previous post before she knew what had happened.

DoMeDon · 06/06/2011 14:54

How awful for all of you! Can only imagine the mix of emotions. Hope he leaves a little note next time. Get well soon to DH Smile

QueeferSutherland · 06/06/2011 14:57

Oh christ.

Hope he is on the mend.

PigletJohn · 06/06/2011 15:09

sorry

but looking back, if it was me, I'd have wished I hadn't said it. I actually thought so at the time but didn't want to talk about the possibilities. Thankfully it has a reasonably happy ending.

TheLadyEvenstar · 06/06/2011 16:27

So glad to hear that although he has been in an accident it was not serious!
Get well so to DH Grin

youarekidding · 06/06/2011 16:34

Glad to hear you've found him. Sorry about the accident. Sad
Hope your DH is on the mend. Remember to look after yourself aswell - its often the carer who gets more worn down in these situations.

thatwouldbeanecumenicalmatter · 06/06/2011 16:41

God - glad you found him fostermumtomany - hope you're all ok.

I wouldn't worry about the 17 year old denying it - the odds aren't exactly stacked in his favour - as people were injured it will be investigated (crash site measured/photographed, witnesses interviewed and car damage evaluated)

mrsjaja · 06/06/2011 20:00

Oh my god!!!! THank goodness he is okay. Was beginning yo get really concerned for you OP.

Shame on the hospital for not letting you know as soon as ......bad management skills there.

As for the little shit - hope he loses his licence!!! What a twat!!!!

Take care of yourself, and with hubby a speedy recovery

Badgerwife · 09/06/2011 20:47

Oh thank goodness you found him, that's just horrific. I hope he gets better quickly. Still, going to Asda this early in the morning is a little odd.
