AIBU to wonder why one poster keeps bumping year old threads?

I've cracked the code. Deep down, Latootle desperately wants to be the centre of attention. But she has issues. Some of these issues are so deeply trivial that she craves the piss-water weak solution of anonymity. So she posts and bumps, posts and snipes. Nothing original, mind, just enough to give herself a fledgling pseudo-identity.

I think Latootle might be my mum.

Bumping old threads giving them the impression they are not old happens on most forums, it's sometimes called Necroing. I've never understood why the writers of forum software haven't put in a function allowing the site owners to have it automatically close threads after they've not been posted to for a set time (say, three months). Obviously people could still link to the old threads if they wanted, but that often happens here anyway where an OP makes a new thread to update us on an problem she has previously posted about, including a link in the first post.

It's fair enough though, if you are linking an old thread of yours or even if you bump your own thread with an update. This wasn't the case though. It's all very bizarre!

If they're all on one day, the poster's probably just clicked on an AIBU 'back thread' page number and just posted on a few on that day.

I had a quick look at the early AIBU posts and post numbers are a bit thin on the ground.
