Isn't it ironic? My dh sings it all the time- he's well adjusted, nearly forty, is successful in a busy job and absolutely bushed at the moment. It's a bit of wishful thinking about quiet days and in no way suggests that he wants to escape life with two children and one on the way! Well - not permanently

Oh Lord. Not only have I never heard this song or of Bruno Mars, but also.. I'm a secondary school teacher, and teenagers are my living.
ALthough I do prefer to stick my head down a hole when it comes to modern life.
