noticed it yest and called them to find out what on earth is going on.
Seemingly it's def mine, I had not told them I was on mat leave so they were still paying me tax credits on the basis of what I was supposed to be earning. When they got my p60 total it was far less than my wage as they don't take maternity allowance into account when working tax credits out.
I'm still shaking and never slept last night.
I am due my mum £1000 which she has been waiting patiently on and I can't wait to see her face when I give her it today as I know she has just had a large bill.
It's so tempting to blow the rest on the dd's and really spoil them as things have been tight lately but I think I will transfer it over to the building society and keep about £50 for a family day out.
Can't believe I was so close to not claiming this year as we were only getting a few pound a week.
Checked my bank again this morning to make sure I was not dreaming.
