Opened up a pack of frozen broccoli and took out some florets. Out fell a frozen SLUG.

AIBU to think that it is perfectly possible to remove slugs from veggies before freezing them, and that a failure to do so is sheer crapness on the manufacturer's part?

I'm so paranoid about boiling little caterpillars that I always end up cutting my cauliflower/brocolli florets into tiny pieces after doing it a couple of times when I first started properly cooking!

Not the same but I remember vididly finding a massive black shiny beetle in my curry when working for a large, well known activity company. TBF they did have over 1000 people to feed that day and sometimes it happens, but it certainly put me off of my dinners for a few days! Just gutted I wasn't a guest, would've gotten a load of free dessert then!
