taking your child to school, then to the gym for a class and a workout, then having a relative come round

That's a leisure day surely?

I doubt the OP is really how it is though

I just saw my day on paper at my carer's Assessment: it looked nothing like my reality. It was correct but conveyed very little; for example makes dinner does not even begin to explain how it is to make dinner for chidlren with a rnage of dietary needs whilst supervising them for their SN and all the other stuff that goes with it.

But then as us Sn parents often say, we go to work (or in my case voluntary work) for a rest!
