Unless they are paying our mortgage and around 24/7 they have no right to tell me and DH how we should deal with the kids, what to do in our spare time etc etc.
Sorry- argghh

It depends, you wll have to give abit more information. What is it they are criticising you over?

Too damn right YANBU.

I've had that conversation with my parents once or twice myself. It's odd how they back off when you point to the full of cold, whining toddler who has just rubbed ketchup into your carpet and say - "OK parents, since you know it all, there she is, YOU take her home/stay here for the next month."

You generally won't see their arses for dust!

MonstaMunch · 26/05/2011 13:55

depends if you are neglecting/abusing them/leaving them home alone while you go to pub every night and come home pissed

Or have grown up watching Disney films so think that it's ok for the dog to be a babysitter/nanny.

YANBU!

Same goes for friends or other family members.

I giggle in my heart when well-meaning childless people try to tell me what to do with my DS.

Just nod and smile, just nod and smile :)
