Being grumpy in the morning

Ok I am not a morning person. I need my cup of tea. A bit of quiet while I deal with being awake. I am a bit snappy but then a bit of toast eaten and hurrah! Happy OneDove appears. My DH thinks this is totally unreasonable and often is pretty annoyed I am like this.
Does anyone wake smiling, leap out of bed, full of joy?
Just wondering?

I am so not a morning person. In fact, I don't even like to be spoken to until I've had at least one huuuuuuge cup of coffee. Preferably two.

Have actually told DH once that conversation in the morning was vastly overrated. :o He was not amused. Until the next time he'd had a bit too much the night before and I took revenge by chattering at him until he said the same line back to me :o

we're useful because we bring coffee to our loved ones
(I'm bewildered zombie at night)

Tell your DH to be grateful he does not have to put up with me in the mornings.

I realised yesterday that I probably was being unreasonable when I found myself getting cross that I had to respond with words to DP's offer to make me breakfast. Fortunately he finds it funny.

DH and I are both grumpy in the mornings...we are both ropable till we have a cuppa and some toast. I'm not sure who's worse so often we don't talk much at all!
I then perk up a bit but don't really wake up till my first coffee when I'm at work...

...sod off not had breakfast yet......
