Gales with us, bits coming off trees. Not seen the worst yet. The Answer is certainly Blowing in The Wind.

I had forgotten just how good Dylan was when young. The TV doc brought it all back. The unique voice, taking the mickey out of interviewers.

A journo said how many protest singers like you are there.? Looking puzzled the answer was 136.....the jorno pressed....alright 142 if you like. (He was extracting the waters)

I was not a great fan in earlier years. But he sounded like the real
McCoy in the doc. Or the real Dylan.

someone said on todays news he took drugs.. is the pope a catholic?

I've always adored Bob Dylan - I'd lay across his big brass bed anytime.

I wouldn't be surprised if the divine Mr D occasionally dabbled in the odd substance, but I thought everyone knew that god's vicar on earth is a nazi.

He looks very odd in his dotage. A bit like my Aunt Irene.

ScousyFogarty · 23/05/2011 15:58

yes, Izzy, good luck with the bed.

It was a real experience, even on TV, to listen to that very special voice and intellect.

Incidentally have you all got severe gales? If I get blown away. Nice knowing you.

He was horrible to Joan Baez but she still loved him. That's power.

He can't actually sing though, Scousy. That's the special thing about his voice. Bloody good music, bloody good words. Always better when sung by someone else.

Lovely drying weather here too, Scousy - I'll watch out for you in my neighbours' gardens when I go to collect my washing.

ScousyFogarty · 23/05/2011 16:23

Bucharest. I see what you mean about his singing. But I still think he gets the best out of his own bril words. Like A Roling stone is a fantastic song.

Did he ever bother to get married? I suspect not.

Izzy, lovely drying weather here ; but which county are my clothes in? I think Scotland is getting the worst of it. I shall sleep downstairs tonight.

I dont think its the end of the world; a couple of days late

I think he married Sarah. (he gave her Joan's kimono....the act of ultimate betrayal.....when Joan went to see Sarah about something, she answered the door wearing it, and Joan said "I wondered where that had gone")

JB's autobiography describes him wonderfully.

All that is fair enough, if true, but it does not destroy the uniquness of his talent.

Self obsessed brilliant people may be the norm.

Just now a pretty ladyasked me for a donation. I was keen to give her one.
