So 4 doors down, they have gone ballistic at each other! SHouting, swearing, the whole works. I can hear them from inside my house and DH went out for a fag (nosey parker) and they were really going for it!

AIBU if your going to argue this late at night don't let us all hear it! (though its nice to know we have very nosey neighbours, OH had to get his baccy out of his car- on the drive) and quite a few of the smokers decided to smoke outside the front of their houses instead of their backgardens!

arguments sometimes have to happen. i believe that you should never go to bed angry, however after ten its a angry whisper fight.

HalfPastWine · 22/05/2011 00:38

Ooh, can you hear what they're shouting about? We need details?!!!

Icelollycraving · 22/05/2011 00:41

Yabu! I don't think they have a schedule that is geared around others. Yes,they are u to disturb others but it sounds as though you are all enjoying the spectacle in a car crash kind of way.

GlendaTheGrizzlyPiggy · 22/05/2011 00:41

Do you live on my street? It's all kicking off next door. The boxings finished so me and DP are pressed up against the adjoining wall earwigging (nosy buggers that we are).

Madamolive · 22/05/2011 00:43

Nope not much apart from someone needs to get the f* out, cue doors slamming, something smashing, its been going on for just over half an hour.. i don't think this person has got the message!

Just before i was about to post, DH has come in from nosey fag and we can hear a woman literally howling with rage. Think hulk met squarking bird.

Do they have noisy make-up sex afterwards?

Madamolive · 22/05/2011 00:45

gtgp- Possibly, or is it common thing to have an argument (this loud and aggressive) at this time of night?!

BiPolarPauline · 22/05/2011 00:45

Madamolive

They are out of order. Do they live in their own house or the councils?

Madamolive · 22/05/2011 00:47

These houses are part rented/buying and housing assosiation all mixed together!

OP posts:
GlendaTheGrizzlyPiggy · 22/05/2011 00:49

Well it's common round here. The girl that lives next to me could argue with a fence post.

LittleJennyRobyn · 22/05/2011 01:25

Sorry But YABU, If DH and i argue (not very often mind) we dont stop to think....... "oh hang on a minute, We'd better not.....might disturb the neighbours!!" Hmm

If your temper gets the better of you, you let rip regardless of who might hear or what time of the day or night it is.

thornrose · 22/05/2011 01:30

"Do they live in their own house or the councils" - that is so hilariously irrelevant.

Salmotrutta · 22/05/2011 01:35

Personally I'd be phoning the police - it could be domestic violence.

LittleJennyRobyn - really? Hmm. Glad I don't live next door to you.

Salmotrutta · 22/05/2011 01:39

Oh, and I agree with thornrose - what the heck does council or private housing have to do with it?? Hmm

Do you think that private house owners never argue and disturb the peace - because that is utter rubbish.

HalfPastWine · 22/05/2011 01:40

thornrose of course it's relevant. Everyone knows us councils tenants are rough as fuck and argue all the time.

mybrainsthinkingfuckyou · 22/05/2011 01:45

I am guessing she thinks you could complain directly to the council/get help from environmental dept re noise if they are tenants rather than owners i.e. eviction notice as opposed to just the police who will deem it a domestic but
won't do a lot more unless it really is breaching the peace as they arrive...

manticlimactic · 22/05/2011 01:56

I have been known to be all fishwife-erish and opened my bedroom window and shout 'shut.the.fuck.up' after I've had a good ole listen of course.Blush

thornrose · 22/05/2011 02:09

Me too manti. Would you call environmental health or the police though? (Unless of course you suspect someone is being hurt)

LittleJennyRobyn · 22/05/2011 02:32

salmotrutta So if you are having an argument and things are getting a bit heated do you honestly stop to think about disturbing the peace of your neighbours??

Like i said it's once in a blue moon that DH and i Argue and very very rarely go at it hammer and tongs, yes the neighbours may well hear us if the windows/doors are open but in the middle of an argument they are the least of my priorities as we do not have a set timetable we work to for arguing, these things are pretty much spur of the moment or when a situation arises which nobody can predict.

somedayillbesaturdaynite · 22/05/2011 05:22

OMG Glenda, so didn't realise I was that loud Blush
