To think most 10 year olds wouldn't know what trafficking is?

came up in a verbal reasoning practice paper the other day

well, the rule for trafficking must be the same as the rule for picnicking and panicking.

if the word ends in a C, to make it a "doing" word (i'm using that instead of verb, because verb can be "to do" as well as "doing" and I specifically mean "doing"), you have to put a K before the -ing, so that it makes it hard.

otherwise, you could pronounce it like practising, I suppose....

I asked dd who is 10 and she said she didn't know what trafficking meant and she went to look it up in the dictionary - did not report back on it.
