stop talking about your bloody wedding all day in work, if i have to hear another minute of sugared almonds, teabags in glass vases, Jimmy Choo shoes, biscotti variations to serve after the meal, a day by day weather forecast of the day, name by name place settings of people I don't know, how it's your day, all about you and you are the princess (you are bloody 30 FCS get over yourself) I will SCREAAAAAMMMM!!!!

Sorry I had to get that off my chest and I didn't know any other way.

BTW i genuinely hope she enjoys her wedding, but the assumption that I am interested in the detail is just driving me crazy and I don't know how many more subject changes I can invent anymore.

and no I am not going, and no I am not bitter/jealous etc etc

Wait wait wait...they are already married??!

So this just to get presents then?

Buttonmushroomhomewrecker · 16/05/2011 15:02

her family couldn't get over for the actual wedding from "across the pond" - she had to marry quickly to stay in this country with her partner....

Aside form this she is a lovely girl, it's just becoming a monster....and you can't seem to change the subject she is in another world at the moment.

Ah well only 3 weeks to go!!

YANBU. I can't even listen to my sister discuss the finer details of her wedding and I was meant to be maid of honour originally! Luckily due to distance our conversations occur over the phone so she cant see my eyes glaze over and reach for a magazine to flick through. I know I should take an interest in this stuff really, but I broke off my own engagement partly due to the boringness of wedding planning. (We're still together, just not getting married. Ever.)

right...back into the fray! Wish me luck guys and so glad i was able to share the beauty of the wedding favor teabag with you.

Next time you see one at a wedding you'll have to stifle a snigger!

my DP used to work in a teabag factory, when he came home and had a bath (we had no shower) the bathwater would be like a big cup of tea. and his hands went yellow.

I got a candle once with B&G's name etc on it. I chucked it out as it seemed a bit weird to BURN it.

"Edible (and drinkable!) favors make sense: chances are, they'll actually be used and appreciated more than a costly trinket." Shock

Really??? I'm going to stink out my handbag to cart home a teabag that's had the brides grubby mits all over it. Gimme the costly trinket any day... or not
