Not strictly an aibu,

DH bought a trim for the car 3 weeks ago, noticed thursday it was broken, (the clip had broken). He only uses the car about once a week.

Went to Vauxhall today to get a refund/replacement (with receipt) was fobbed off and told wait until monday when the manager is in and he would have to buy a new part while the other was sent away for 'testing' . Double

Went back a few minutes later after talking with me and me looking up Sale of Goods Act and was told "don't start quoting the manager with 'legal stuff' as it riles him and makes him annoyed and they have their side too and it is a grey area"

WTF?! Quoting 'legal stuff' riles him?? O.k. then.

So what can he do?
And..AIBU for being pissed off?

OP I'm so irritated for you. I'm tempted to offer to pay the court fee for you myself . I've just filed a claim in respect of a faulty freezer - it has only cost £30 to file the claim.
