Neither me or my (and his) son are supposed to know. The rest of his family are going. Only 8 months since we split and we'd been together 13 years.

Hope your little boy is okay. I feel so sad for you. 8 months is no time at all imo and I think if this was me I'd be grief stricken today. It's really horrible that he hasn't got the good manners and respect for all the time you were together to tell you the truth. Instead, you had to hear it from somewhere else.
