to not wear a tutu this weekend?

My BF has her hen weekend, starting tomorrow. 3 nights away - tomorrow night is 80s night and we've been asked to wear tutus, angel wings and deelyboppers. Sod that - I'm 35, far too old for that kind of thing, and I'm more of a dress n' heels kind of girl anyway.

I did buy a tutu but it looks awful and so instead I'm going to wear a strapless dress (red leopard print with ruffles on the hem), matching wings and deelyboppers as requested. The dress is kind of eighties in style.

I know my BF will be disappointed but I just can't bring myself to wear the tutu. AIBU?

YANBU I am having my hen in a few weeks and have drummed it into my BMs there is to be NO TAT!

Not sure I'm going to get away with it though as when I organised my friend's years ago it was willies a-plenty

In my defence we were in our early twenties then and not so sophisticated as we are now ..

I think you should do what my delightful friends did to me .
They all dressed up , looking lovely and then gave me a couple of large vodkas took me to the loos and dressed me up in charity shop shite .
I didn't feel like I could complain and I did look a tit but was very funny , the shoes were particularly smart .

Stop worrying about what you look like, get the tutu on and enjoy yourself

Do any of you miserable sods actually ever get INVITED to hen dos? Probably not and if you do get invited, you're the po faced one in the corner yes?

OP - YABU - I have a clarrsy pink tutu that you can borrow ?

OK, I'm back - I did wear it in the end, and hated every minuted of it...until I got drunk and forgot about it that is!
