i bought one this weekend, put banana in - dc was loving it. I then tried to was it up after ages of scrubbing i still kept finding pieces of banana stuck in the net. I left it to soak in boiling hot water, scrubbed again and then sterilised it. I now have a brown coloured net (thanks to banana) and i think i have finally got it clean. I spent ages washing it up, if i didnt inspect several times for banana after i thought it was clean there would still be bits stuck in it. Surley this can't be the hygenic? Is there some magic washing method i've failed to notice?

What's it meant to do? Confused

I wipe with cold baby wipes, unless you keep them refrigerated they are really not that cold, more room temperature.

Do people really buy this shit?

It's to let babies eat- without the risk of choking!

Load of rubbish

I thought the post was about oral sex.

Funnier, though.

I used to warm up wipes in my hand before using them.

I fail to see why anyone would buy that nibbler thing Hmm my DC managed to eat a whole variety of fruit & veg from 6 months (BLW) and survived!

Bananas can be a choking hazard, it is true. I used to cut them into four lengthwise, leaving the (washed) skin on. It's a bit slippery but a good way to give bananas to babies if you are BLW and don't want to mash.
