Why did you join mumsnet in the first place?

For a research project & IABU.

I was living in a horrific hellhole, my friend suggested I come read AIBU more for the distraction!

As in "you may not have left your flat for 10 weeks, have no-one to talk to bar a 10m baby, are surrounded by arrogant and ignorant loons who are hell bent on causing you additional trouble with your obligatory abusive H, just for the fun of it, but AIBU/MN will show you that some people really put up with some really horrific situations...."

I generally haunt AIBU, Relationships, Chat, and Legal matters.
