to stop knocking?!

Im in on my own, and I answered the door because I thought my housemate had forgot his keys, but this drunk man was looming, and slurring and spitting and in the end managed to ask for a blanket and so I told him I was very sorry but I didnt have one and to not knock again. But he is shouting at my house from the street...

Try to relax and get a good nights sleep now.
That's a slightly tipsy panda order!

Aaah OP - hope you are OK?

Our first flat was opposite a pub.
We had a drunk old man who sat on our windowsill one day - DH opened said window stealthily and shouted "Oi" very loudly. Old drunk man nearly crpped himslef.
We also had a drunk guy wander through our front door thinking we were the pub. We set him straight and got a chain on the door.
We had drunken prostitutes ladies visiting one of our neighbours when our first baby was tiny. Nice.

Big burly policemen are very comforting - all policemen should be at least 6' 3" in my opinion.

Aah, thankyou all for being lovely, seems to have calmed down here!
Not looking forward to working the night shift at SU tomorrow and being surrounded by drunken students though!

I can't believe all the posts about not calling the police as he might have mental health problems. I was going to say you have to call the police as he might have mental health problems and need some help!

Anyway glad it's all sorted now
