Fanjo I will be using the term "media bullshittery" on my business cards in future :o

CurrySpice, according to frgr's definition of consultancy you owe me a "very very high pay rate" for the use of my linguistic services. Grin

Am considering "Film Industry Wankery" for my business card.

We spend most of our days answering emails and sorting out admin. There is sex going on but not during working hours except at Christmas.

Pretty much exactly what I'm doing right now

I have always worked in an office, but I was enlightened about this subject over Easter.

My 60+ auntie came round and told me she visited her granddaughter in her office. Apparently the bank held an open day Hmm I have never worked in bank like that.

She proceeded to tell me the following: People are all very quiet in offices. They wear smart clothes. They have their own computer (!) which noone else can touch with their own passwords which noone else knows.
There is no paper in the offices, as it is all paperless. At this point my Mom chipped in saying, "It is much more modern now than it was when you worked for that bank. There is no paper now."
There is a little kitchen with tea and coffee-making facilities. There is even a doctor. Sometimes you have to work weekends, but you have huge bonuses out of which you can even buy a microwave oven.
So I asked which bank is this magic place. She said it was bank A. But I said "I do not think they have offices in your town". Mom says, "Oh yes, it is bank B, but she calls them all bank A."

She did not tell me about office romances, but in my experience bank A used to hire a hotel each year for a so-called "sports weekend". That is where most of the sex and other outrageous behaviour took place. That hotel has recently been pulled down. I do not think they wanted us back.

Today I left the office and rode around London on the NO2AV battle bus, it was beyond fun

The best thing about working in an office is sitting down for most of the day.

If you have a hangover headache, you can lounge sit with a nice cup of tea and pretend to work.

It's pretty much as wednesday described but we have The Internet as well, so lunchtimes can be spent MN-ing. Add to that cakes on Friday and it's bloody near perfect. Although I do envy your baby-cuddling, OP.
