Philip Treacy (if that's how it's spelt)...... this was a truly crap design, just bin it dear, there's a love.

Oh and Beatrice IF you designed the hat and told hom to make it for you then you need to take style advice... and soon.

That hat she wore at Peter Phillip's (?) wedding was also (I think) byt he same designer and IMO was gorgeous.

i actually liked the hat. wedding hats are always a bit silly so why not go the whole hog? i thought it was very "British" looking for the multitude of foreign viewers.

also have to say I think that the two girls looked better (well from the tabloid pictures I saw) in their choice of evening wear without any stupid hats.

My thought was that it is hardly a good advertisement for your talents if the end result is not flattering - if I were VW and one of my frocks looked a bit ropey on the person wearing it I would try and tactfully suggest something else. OK I know it wasn't VW personally, well I assume not, but shouldn't someone have been kind enough to suggest a different style of outfit for Eugenie.....?

I liked it. I'm now looking for a similar one myself. Go racing and you see people in far more unusual looking hats than this. Its just having a bit of fun and being inventive and smart at the same time.

She's got form for dodgy hats though. Remember that butterfly one?
