AIBU?

So what is there left to do "for the first time" ever in life now?

You know those big life-changing events.

For me I can't think of anything else, which is probably a bit sad I suppose

done the marriage, and divorce
done the job and career
done the home
done the child (and again, and again and again)
done the travel, illness

what about you - what haven't you done yet?

it is not sad to think that you have achieved everything that you wanted to do Grin (as well as some things that you didn't Hmm )

There is one thing that i'd realy like to do, and because I want it, i'm too afriad to try...

but in terms of my life, I'm happy that I have things to measure it by, the marriage and children (the job not so much, but I haven't got a better plan for that yet)

Hmmm.....let me see. Losing everything and starting afresh? Living in another culture, plastic surgery ?

Hobby? Or skills you want to learn? Go to the beach and learn to surf or something. Aspire to goat ownership, or fluency in Farsi.
And I refuse to believe anyone has 'done' travel!

It's nice to be settled and content, but there's always something else to spike your interest even if it's not immediately apparent Smile

Haven't really done any of those things yet! But hopefully in the next ten years or so I will: graduate, move to the sea, marry the man I love and make a couple of babies... :)

No chance of Tom and Barbara here. DP won't even let me keep chickens because of the foxes. He keeps taunting me with pictures of cute piglets too, but I bet they honk and the reality isn't quite so sweet. Couldn't even manage to keep up an allotment.

I doubt I'll ever have a daughter now - that would have been a brilliant first time ever.

Bit previous as my boys are still in juniors but I can't wait to be a grandmother as our boys don't really have an active grandparent, and I think they miss out a bit because of that.

Running a marathon - on the cards for next year if I get accepted.

Loads of travel I've not yet done and long to do, even though I travelled a lot in my 20s.

Earning a fortune.

Seeing sons grow up and leave home.

Having a tidy home would be an amazing first.

Are you bored Activate? Are you wanting a new adventure?

What about live abroad or start a completely new hobby - like horse riding/scuba diving?

However if you are happy in current situation then what are you worried about?
