The Daily Fail has a huge pic of Bin Laden's dead face on the main page.

Why?

But google Elvis and the same - there will always be people reluctant to accept a famous (and infamous) dead person.

The pic of him dead has mysteriously GONE from the DMs home page.

South....I rekon you are right...it is a fake. The pic on the photoblog page WAS the same one on the DM site!
So did some journo pic up on the same pic whichPhooblog say is from "unknown sources" and stick it up only to later reallise it was too much...or fake?

I did see the picture on the DM website. It didn't look remotely like ObL.
I agree with whoever said that people want to see death and poke it with a stick just to prove to themselves that the individual is really dead.
The Sadamm Hussain son's were the same, show them laid out to prove it.

What I don't understand is the pic which the Telegraph claim is the top half...who is that? Some random dead man?

He's alive. He's living on a hippy commune with JFK, Elvis and Princess Di. He was waiting for Henry Cooper to stage his death so he'd have someone to spar with.

The one with the intact mouth (extreme right of the three) is Osama dead at the top and an alive photoshopped mouth. The picture on the left of the three is the REAL photo - more gruesome. So all are Osama. No random men involved.

His money won't go to anyone, it will be analysed to see the trail it creates.

I saw that photo in 2010. It is a fake.

Personally, I found photos of the Twin Towers being attacked and the aftermath more upsetting.

Bin Laden being dead is news. I want to see photographic proof if possible, not just read about it. I'm not a child; I can stomach mildly unpleasant news.

Unfortunately the photo is not in the Scottish edition of the Daily Mail at all. It is Henry Cooper instead.

There's nothing in my paper. If it's only on line YABU for being one of those people who slates Mail readers buts sneaks away to avidly read it on line.

DH bought the DM today and it has no dead corpses on the front.

I'm not sure it happened a week ago - if it did, why pretend it happened yesterday? What would be the purpose?

It has happened last week - but it took time for DNA.

i thought the media were not allowed to show pictures of dead bodies? (is it illegal?)- it doesnt seem to apply to brown people
