...every day. Or every weekend. Grin

I mean even in a big city how many museums are there? How many times can you visit them?
I can understand galleries and exhibitions, yes. Because they change. But museums are the same for years, how many times do people visit them?

Hornimann is great. I grew up in lewisham so went there a fair bit.

There is a lot of free/very cheap stuff if you look hard enough, but obviously it depends where you live and on transport.

We are really lucky to have lots of enormous parks in our town, including one with a nature centre - loads of farm animals, gorgeous birds, wallabies etc :) and it's free.

We live 10 mins walk away from the National railway Museum. We go a lot as my DSs love it....however we tend to treat it like going to the park, whizz in for an hour, let the kids run around for a bit (the place is pretty empty in the winter when its not the school hols), then go home.

Or if we are walking into town (past the museum) we might literally pop in for 15 mins on the way past.

Its fab, it is basically like having an indoor park on your doorstep!
