fasted I presume it is possible to establish when someone started dating. Not being a huge follower of the Rooney's I did assume that the poster had verified that. I am presuming that it is known by friends and therefore public info that she didn't return his interest for 3 years. But, you are right, I shouldn't assume that anyone else knows for sure.

I have no idea what is going on in Coleen Rooney's life - I haven't read any stories about her.

But I don't see why you would waste your time sending messages of support to someone just because they are a celebrity. If you want to offer genuine support then there are probably plenty of people posting in the various sections of MN who would welcome support.

But I guess that wouldn't be as interesting. Surely the only reason anyone makes any sort of contact with a celebrity is for the vicarious pleasure of "ooh, I tweeted someone famous".

I always- irrationally- want to send messages of support to Lily Allen

every time I see her on anything, I just think "awwww, Lily"

I never do, though, as it would be silly
