AIBU to be jumping around the room

Hi all I know this isnt technically an aibu thread, but this is the topic that gets the most traffic an I need to share my news with someone.

After a big operation in Nov I took up photography in March this year as something to pass the time. I like taking pics of all diffrent things. ME dp and the dcs went to the hak conservancy yesterday for a day out. We go quite a lot as we are members of it. I took my camera like I always do and took a few pics.

When we come home and I put them on the pc to look at there was 1 pic that I really liked of one of the handlers laughing with an eagle.

I put this pic on there facebook page for other people to see. I got a message from them today saying they love the picture and the marketing manager would like a copy of it to use on promotinal material for the trust.

To say I am over the moon is an understatment. I am totaly shocked by the message and they thought it was that good. We are going back again tommorow for another day out.

Dh is becoming fairly well known in digital photography circles and would love to make a career out of it but it is difficult making any money out of it. He's sold a few but he doesn't push himself enough or really have good enough equipment or the spare cash to upgrade it at the mo! Good luck though. Happy Easter [busmile]

YANBU, lovely thing for you - well done! I was chuffed when the school photographer picked her two shots of my kids to use on her flyers the next year to advertise that she was coming to do the school photos again - I thought she just used everybody's own DC on each flyer, but then my friend showed me hers and it was my kids too - and I didn't even take that photo, so you definitely have a right to be really excited!!!
