maybe fanjo they are taking their advice from their parents and friends who have had children who are older - i know i would be bamboozled by so much conflicting advice about weaning (and other things!) that there is now

Dueling - I am the odd one out for waiting till 24 weeks. DD reached over and grabbed a sweet potato wedge the other day and promptly sucked on it, I took that, along with her screaming at mealtimes, as a sign she was ready.

Everyone I know (apart from dh) think I am weird for waiting so long.
