Just curious to see which way will go!

I am getting a solar powered one as a birthday present, we have recently had the garden done with a nice big planting area which we have been filling up with various plants, but there is a big drain cover in it. So wanted something to sit on the drain cover.

I think it is very nice, it is this one www.primrose.co.uk/-p-82.html

So feel free to admire it or tell me I am a tasteless twat who should be shot Grin

Nesta - I love the trickly sound too. Although being as I am very pregnant, I'd better make sure I wear my Tena Lady when listening to it as bladder is quite weak at the mo Grin

Whoknows - yes my mum had similar problems with hers, but you can get replacement pumps & panels. And I suppose I could put a few more plants in the bowls instead!

Grovel - yes I agree they are a bit naff, but I love 'em anyway!

one!

Personally, can't stand them. But then I like quite classical gardens. If you get pleasure out of it though, thats up to you. Its your garden, and you can have in it what you want!

(I have to admit to being slightly biased by seeing the grazing field I used to rent for my pony in as a child turned into one giant Japanese themed water feature, complete with fake looking green wood and totally out of keeping with the Georgian houses in whose grounds it was. Utterly hideous, and must have cost tens of thousands).

Ours was a pebble fountain, it was lovely, but an absolute bugger to keep clean as the water was in an underground reservoir and it used to get v. smelly, you had to dig the whole thing out and clean it. You don't see them very much now, funnily enough. I would only ever have the sort where the water can be changed easily now.
