YANBU - I just watched it with DS. It was a particularly awful episode with the tedious Grandpa getting annoyed by a baby crying [sceptical] The Dad cannot act to save his life!

DD is terrified of Grandpa In My Pocket (and its bloody seagull.....) so I don't have it inflicted on me too often thankfully!

Is it bad that occasionally I find myself thinking up slightly-less-PC plots for the show........? One where Grandpa goes for a veeeery long lie down.........

And all the furniture in the house is from Ikea....I know cos I've got most of it!

maighdlin- thank goodness. Someone else who hates the speech used in Waybuloo!! Most people look at me like I'm mad when I rant about it comment on it. I wish they would either speak properly or just use squeaks - I hate the grown-up-speaking-like-a-child thing.

Oi - we LOVE Grandpa in my Pocket! It's DS's absolute favourite programme in the entire world.

Not having young children I had to google to find out what this was and I discovered
(a) it's a rip off of Mrs Pepperpot and
(b) when you use the program title as a web address it looks like 'grand pain my pocket' which seems appropriate really...

We hate GIMP (!!) too.....DDs love it though....

My mum says I hate 'Grandpa in my Pocket' in the same way she hated 'Rentaghost'. Not really sure what she's on about but hey ho.

And K999 they have the same cushion covers as we do. Which DS1 is fascinated by (it's here, it's there, how can that be?)
