To consider inflicting my feet on someone?

I run regularly and as a consequence my feet are horrible.

Blush

My little toenails are bashed to buggery (bad trainers in the old days) and when I go on long runs, even with good trainers I sometimes get nasty blood blisters etc. One of my toenails split a while ago and I have calluses everywhere.

If you haven't pressed the back button yet in disgust.... I am thinking of getting a pedicure to make my feet look half-human, but have always been too scared to show them to an actual pedicurist.

AIBU to go to a salon with feet like these? Always feel like a total oaf in salons and slightly afraid the perfectly coiffed lady behind the counter will at me.....

my feet were horrible...cracked grey skin everywhere...went to a chiropodist for a pedicure 2 months ago (never had one before and just got to the point where I couldnt bear my horrid feet anymore) and it was fab...foot bath...dead skin removed...massage and nails cut (didnt realise what a difference just having your nails cut correctly makes Shock I have had the fish pedicure before but didnt really any any difference to my leathery, grey soles Blush
