To think Myleene Klass should be able to afford a buggy?

here

Look at me, I have had a baby, and she is wrapped in such a lovely blanket (which you can buy from my range at Mothercare).

That woman should walk around with one of those product placement 'P's on her forehead.

OP posts:
sunshineatlast · 07/04/2011 15:12

I dont really get how annoying she is to some of you.
Its the Daily Mail, its full of banal rubbish.

So there are some photos of her carrying her baby so what? There are some very very harsh comments on here. How can that be right?
I just dont care about her enough I guess.

GastonTheLadybird · 07/04/2011 15:13

I am not a huge Myleene fan but COME ON, you do all realise how pathetic this sounds?

Woman walking in C.London with her child and newborn baby is a) not really newsworthy and b) not really interesting. Should definitely not be met with all this criticism, she's just going for a walk and yes it is quite possibly staged for the paps but that is her job and what makes her money.

You're all positively endorsing this culture of adoration by talking about her all the sodding time and giving the DM so many page views!

marmaladetwatkins · 07/04/2011 15:32

Well, I don't get how she can NOT annoy you. You must be her mum. Or Myleene herself.

GastonTheLadybird · 07/04/2011 15:35

Oh I get how she can be really fucking annoying but she is still just a new mum, not really deserving of quite so much vitriol.

She probably has cracked nipples, leaky boobs, is knackered and everyone is bitching about her because she managed to look great for an hour? She probably went home, cried, put her PJs on and ate a chocolate orange. She is only human.

marmaladetwatkins · 07/04/2011 15:40

No-one is bitching because she "looks great" (seriously, you ARE Myleene, aren't you? Grin)

The thing that pisses me off about her is, well, everything actually.

ShowOfHands · 07/04/2011 15:42

Nasty, nasty thread. You may not like her but she's done nothing terribly heinous. She's making a living. She's probably just fine and coping well but if I read as a new mother some of the horrid personal comments on here, I would be broken.

And yes, yes put yourself in the public eye etc etc. But we still have the ability to choose what we say about people. You don't have to like her but this vitriol is just plain horrid.

DSM · 07/04/2011 15:46

Has anyone actually ever tripped and fallen Oberon simply due to wearing a maxi dress and/or sandals?

Hmm

If she was wearing 6" heels, maybe. But sandals and a long dress? Really?

I'm not even getting started on the fact she was carrying her baby. She isn't there alone, someone else is holding Eva's other hand, so why, why on earth, should she have a pram?

DSM · 07/04/2011 15:47

Oberon? over.

marmaladetwatkins · 07/04/2011 15:47

I tripped over because of my ridiculous maxi-frock last summer. In the middle of Piccadilly Gardens. On a saturday afternoon in July. Blush I don't think anyone saw

WinterOfOurDiscountTents · 07/04/2011 15:48

I have. But I am extremely clumsy and have been known to trip up over nothing except my own large feet.

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 07/04/2011 15:51

I assume the "I am the same age as Jesus" means she is 33?

marmaladetwatkins · 07/04/2011 15:55

Yes she is 33. I think that the same age as Jesus thing is an attempt to sunbliminally get us to think that she is messianic.

Prunnhilda · 07/04/2011 16:01

When I turned 33 I was gobsmacked to get a lot of 'The same age as Jesus!!' comments. (To be fair I worked with a lot of monks and nuns at the time.)

It's just one of those things that some people say. I am not really au fait with Myleene Klass but I'm fairly sure she isn't equating herself with Jesus Grin

marmaladetwatkins · 07/04/2011 16:26

Nah. She is.

BootyMum · 07/04/2011 16:28

I just loved the "throws back her head and laughs out loud for the cameras" Hmm

Seriously, is this a satire or reality?

marmaladetwatkins · 07/04/2011 16:31

Oh I puked my spleen out chuckled at that too, BootyMum.

Yeah, course she did.

NinkyNonker · 07/04/2011 17:31

She needs a good sling/wrap.

PenguinArmy · 07/04/2011 17:39

I don't know whether it's a pointless articles, but this is a pointless thread

HipposGoBeserk · 07/04/2011 17:53

Roffle at some of you getting overexcited about Whoeversheis wearing a long dress with flip-flops Grin

Dangerous to carry the baby! Grin

You'd better not visit the Middle East ever - it's practically required uniform over here. And to think, I never realised I was endangering my children.

Wonderful. God I love mumsnet.

fatlazymummy · 07/04/2011 18:17

Is this a joke thread? Because if it isn't some of you really need to have a word with yourselves.
Woman walks along the street carrying her 2 week old baby, whilst wearing a long dress and flip flops.
So fucking what? Words fail me.

DarrellRivers · 07/04/2011 18:24

hahahhahaha
crazy folk
burn her for wearing a long skirt and carrying baby
perhaps call social services Grin

Rhinestone · 07/04/2011 18:31

I have thought she was an utter up-her-own-arse cowbag since she was in HearSay. Do I win a long-service award?

crappymummum · 07/04/2011 18:40

bargain Hmm

Gargula · 07/04/2011 18:50

I'm all for a bit of celeb bashing but you lot are just meanies.

I'd sell my soul to look that good after just giving birth.

gkys · 07/04/2011 18:57

remember daniella west brook and the burbery pushchair, celebs are going to get a bashing whatever they do, am intrigued though as to how far she had to walk, Grin
