If I was considering buying a house for over a million pounds, I would want more detail than a picture of the street!

most folks buying in that area now, ARE paying cash and they're not from the UK they are overseas investors.

True, and I suspect I know who would win a bidding war between me and Roman Abramovich. Sigh.

Another issue with this house is that you cant apply for a lease extension till you've owned the lease for 2 years, and you wouldn't want to put too much money into the house until you knew that was going to happen with that, which means you'd have to basically either not live in it, or live in it in it's existing state for close to 3 yrs.
