Right, i bought my daughter a pair of Clarks Doodles second hand from eBay (yeah i know, who the hell buys second hand shoes for their kids - waits to be flogged) and they've arrived and I;m sorry but ew...i really want to send them back and have messaged the seller telling her of my unhappiness. The shoes insole is almost black, you can se toe marks at the bottom Hmm

I've sent her a message saying I didn't think they suitable for sale and won't be putting them on my daughter and await her reply.

did you pay with Paypal? If yes, then you will get your money back for sure. Start a Paypal dispute.

whattheheckisthisflaminplace · 05/04/2011 16:16

Yes i did. I know i can but i want to give the seller a chance to respond first

I completely agree. Give her a chance to respond first, she may refund you immediately, I would, I'd be mortified. But there is a deadline for filing a Paypal dispute, just make sure that you keep on top of it. Paypal pretty much always resolve disputes in the buyer's favour. If she plays hardball, then do threaten opening a dispute. Good luck. Hopefully it won't come to that.

eww manky!

my lot have had plenty of canvas shoes in their time (and they never rarely get washed) and none have ever looked like that.

whattheheckisthisflaminplace · 05/04/2011 16:38

that was my view as well thisisyesterday

i;ve never seen a pair as bad!

The OP has 45 days within which to file a dispute, and if they are in the UK they file the dispute via eBay now not PayPal.

whattheheckisthisflaminplace · 05/04/2011 16:43

i only won 5 day ago and received today so have plenty of time. i will give her 48hrs to reply and if she doesn't will open a case

I can't believe anyone would sell shoes in that condition. That is appalling.

whattheheckisthisflaminplace · 05/04/2011 16:52
Wine

Honestly, I am just so chuffed that I'm not crazy lol

shes offered refund of item but not return or original postage :( ive told her am willing to stump for return p&p but i am due my original postage as per ebay guidelines. if she don't comply i will open case through ebay

OP posts:

i would open a case now tbh. she's sold you something manky and is now refusing to abide by rules regarding refunds.

whattheheckisthisflaminplace · 05/04/2011 21:23

I'm giving her til tomorrow after i finish work to reply or I am opening a case, which I informed her at about 6pm she's not said anything since (after 3 messages in very quick succession)

We'll see, but I do know this - I won't have these shoes in my house this time tomorrow!

Absolutely disgusting! I would be far too embarrassed to sell anything in that condition! She should be ashamed!

jaggythistle · 05/04/2011 21:34

whattheheckisthisflaminplace · 05/04/2011 21:36
