It is my first mothers' day today (DS is nearly 5mo) and my wonderful DH made it really special, I got some lovely roses, a box of chocolates and a mothers' day card written with DH's left hand! I also got breakfast in bed - bliss.
However, my lovely breakfast consisted of two halved, toasted hot cross buns (yummy) topped with scrambled egg (bluergh!!)
Am I being unreasonable or is that a frankly revolting combination? I smiled and separated the two and ate them, but the buns were all soggy from weird scrambled egg juice. Vile.
