A friend has been in really poor health. He told me the other day that his dog keeps sniffing his legs - does anyone have any experience of dogs sniffing odd bits Smile? And.......... did it relate to an illness?

Agent, I'm going to mention it. I think he'll laugh and might run it past his consultant. Or he'll think I'm mental, either way, I don't think he'll get annoyed with me and it's probably best just to mention it, since it's been playin go my mind.

Madam, get rid of that cat, she sounds like death lurking with a swagger. Seriously, she's deliberately infecting you. Cats are too spooky, what's that all about? Dogs seem gentle and protective, cats are just too weird. I still can't get over my cat shitting under my duvet just because I had a rare night of no strings sex. I wonder if there is a message in that shit about the guy who was in my bed? Ooooh.. too spooky!

I've recently had breast cancer and am currently undergoing chemo (2nd dose yesterday). Went to pick up DS2 from a friend's house today and their dog just wouldn't stop sniffing my legs either. I think I smell weird from the chemo so must be really strong to a dog!

An old friend had a cat who started weeing in his bed after he met his now DW - the cat was jealous.

Sorry to hear that Lime, good luck with everything. Yes, I think you're right, my old cat was jealous. They're a strange breed arent' they?

I recall hearing about a dog in an american nursing home who alwus went to sit quietly with the next person to die -and often it was unexpected from human helpers.

They are wonderful (have wonderful noses) and they know.

One of our dogs does it. Dh is disabled and the dog licks the foot Dh has no feeling in. It also attempts to get at my mum's head (brain cysts) and at my back when I had a chest infection.

Dogs have antiseptic in their spittle. That's why they lick wounds, Some dogs will over-interpret water on legs from shower thusly. Wink

Milly -how is such a sensitive family member labelled as 'it'?
