...to not eat the cake that son has made me for mother's day

He's four.
Came out of school today clutching a cupcake, iced with thick yellow substance.

"It's for you, for mother's day"

I know his standards of personal hygiene. I don't like icing. Husband has kindly offered to eat cake on my behalf. Boy is in bed.

That's OK, right? I'll lie, and tell him it was delicious.

madonnawhore - I doubt a mop and bucket would have been up to the job that day! Grin

My DD bought two lovely looking heart shaped cherry shortbread biscuits home that she had made for mothers day......and then proceeded to eat both of them.

I was gutted - it's the first lot of cakes or biscuits she's made that have looked remotely edible.

Oh well.......

I used to work with children. I wouldn't eat it. I don't eat what DS brings home (luckily he is more than happy to eat it himself).

Make excuses. Don't eat it.
