I'm a good way into 2nd bottle, husband on way home from stop over with nightmare step daughter - update on her most recent life choices is likely to be stressfull. I've just joined mumsnet, hope I'll find some guidance.

Just about to pour my third glass (I only have very small ones so I don't feel so guilty) of luxury Lidl chardonnay. Cheers!

NinkyNonker · 01/04/2011 19:19

I am very much looking forward to a cold glass of white once dd is asleep. I can hear (and smell) DH cooking dinner as I type, to accompany the wine!

RelaxTheCacks · 01/04/2011 19:20

Sweet! It is gorgeous here Grin
I am about 4 hours north west of Ottawa. I have traveled to the east and west coasts, but I haven't had a chance to get up to the far north yet. On my list of "things to do before I get too old to have fun"
May I ask what brought you there? (besides a planeGrin)

mcfee · 01/04/2011 19:39

toosoft · 01/04/2011 19:40

YANBU, in fact, I think it's unreasonable if it's not wine time. Or is that just me? That might just be me.

chocadoodle · 01/04/2011 19:44

YANBU wine o'clock was an hour ago Chez Chocadoodle

DP and I polished off 3 bottles of wine and a carafe. I don't know how, we went for dinner, we were feeling rather loved up and in love with life, 2 bottles with dinner followed by one in a wine bar, i don't remember the carafe.

HANGOVER.
