to leave DS2 whilst I nip across the road

He's fast asleep, can't get out of his room. Have to meet DS1 from the bus across the road, literally opposite.

He's 2yo, been at nursery this morning and is zonked.

you back yet?

Onetoomanycornettos I definitely think it's safer to put a child in a buggy and take them with you. Assuming that you (general) know how to cross a road safely I think that's by far the best option but each to their own and all that.

Totally agree with others, the chance of anything happening is virtually nil - the chance of all of you being run over whilst you meet your other child from the bus is higher - just don't ask about it on Mumsnet as Chil has said.

I often used to leave DS asleep whilst I ran to post a letter, had a glass of wine cup of tea with my neighbour, gardened etc etc - I guess that makes me a dreadful parent Grin.

Grin Chil

I'm back - DS2 sound asleep still

I waited at the bottom of our steps until it pulled up and a waddled ran across to meet him.

Now it means me and DS1 can have some quiet time together Smile

Happy Days.

Megatron - we have steep steps so buggy not really an option.
