only because all the posts where I reacted have been deleted by MNHQ

why should one direct insult stand and another be deleted?

I wouldn't have cared if the whole thread had been allowed to stand - but tit for tat

(PS don't call someone a twat - it appears to be viewed as terrible swearing on mummynet - I believe cunt is ok though Grin)

OP posts:

is this a call out for all your pals to pile in and support you activate?

stop taking it all so seriously - doesnt matter.really it doesnt

stylenotfashion · 30/03/2011 19:41

the amazonian got at least one post deleted. Just sayin'.

ongakgak · 30/03/2011 19:43

wowzas, that kicked off quickly, and I am Confused why your posts were deleted and not the others posters which were not very nice at all IMO. I assuming you gave as good as you got, but I am amazed at the venom from that poster.

scottishmummy I not heard "greeting" for ages! I described yesterdays weather as dreach to my DH yesterday. He had no clue what I was saying.

scottishmummy · 30/03/2011 19:44

someone namechanged to diss you. pah, thats passée

mid spat someone once changed to scottishmum-is-an-ugly-hoor i thought that had a nice ring too myself

HecateTheCrone · 30/03/2011 19:44

I want the magic of mumsnet's delete button, since it seems that pressing it deletes the words from the memory. If I had that button, I could say what I liked to people and they'd never know. It would be fab.

Oh, sorry? What's that you say? People still remember what they read? It doesn't in fact erase it from memory?

Well, now I'm confused. If there is no magic button and what was said is remembered, then what's the point?

Perhaps it's about pandering to mardiness.

Or perhaps it's about 'winning'.

I don't blame you for being pissed off, activate. I think it's a bit weak when grown ups can't cope with someone typing something a bit rude. Don't sink to that level. Let the comments against you stand and the person who typed them stand by their remarks.

tethersend · 30/03/2011 19:46

Don't be silly activate- if I wanted to insult you, I'd call you a twat.

I just disagreed with you on your other thread.

HecateTheCrone · 30/03/2011 19:46

oh, and what did you say?

I have to know now Grin

TheCrackFox · 30/03/2011 19:48

You are not a proper Mumsnetter unless you have had a couple of posts deleted. It is a badge of honour.

Gemsy83 · 30/03/2011 19:52

Dont fling insults about and problem solved- not rocket since really is it?

scottishmummy · 30/03/2011 19:52

deleted posts, aye you'll get over it and swearier too

stylenotfashion · 30/03/2011 19:52

or rocket science. Sometimes you need a good insult. Tis healthy.

Gemsy83 · 30/03/2011 19:56

hahahaha rocket since! hehehe

Gemsy83 · 30/03/2011 19:57

It just makes the person arguing their point look like a) a chavmum or b) not very intelligent.
