AIBU to send my friend an anonymous mothers day card?

My friends husband walked out on her and her 2 Dd's who are 3 and 5. She is an Australian living in England and has no family here whatsoever. Would it be unreasonable of me to send her a gift and card on behalf of her dd's as I am 110% certain her ex won't.

That's a shame I wish I knew you in real life and I'd do it for you too. Try and enjoy the day and remember your mum with love and laughter rather than tears and sadness, much easier said than done I know. I'll be thinking of you xxxxx

I think it is lovely to buy her a card and gift but perhaps being anonymous might freak her out a bit?
