After 10 years they have finally identified the poor soul. Full name and pictures.

I find it heart breaking that this didn't make front page news. Just because it was 10 years ago doesn't mean he should be forgotten. Here is to those people still fighting on his behalf. I truely hope giving this poor lad a name and a face at last can help catch his killers xxxxxx

It didn't make the headlines as if I remember correctly, it occurred just days after the World Trade Centre attacks in 2001.

I remember it being limited to a tiny paragraph amid all the aticles about 11 September 2001.

It's an absolute tragedy.

I think the storey was covered heavily in 2001. My comment on the lack of coverage relates to his identification in the last few days.

Oh god that is so so horrendous. I feel physically sick. Poor beautiful little boy.

ohboob · 29/03/2011 22:09

It's so evil, isn't it? And what a gorgeous boy.

"I think the storey was covered heavily in 2001."

I don't remember much of it at all. I don't think it was. Or not as much as if Spetember 11th had never happened.

Buda · 29/03/2011 22:10

I remember this too. Saw the article in the DM today. Amazing how the police never gave up.

Poor boy. And unfortunately there will be many more like him.

griphook · 29/03/2011 22:12

poor little boy, such a sad world we live in

cornsilk678 · 29/03/2011 22:13

poor little boy Sad he's absolutely beautiful. I remember a documentary about this following the detectives who were trying to solve the case.

slartybartfast · 29/03/2011 22:13

this is awful. Sad

exhausted2011 · 29/03/2011 22:19

God bless him

plupedantic · 29/03/2011 22:56

Poor, poor child.

I must say, even the photo is not as pathetic as that torso reconstruction (which was all there was to show of him, before). The reconstruction of Baby P's body/injuries haunted me more than his photos, probably because a naked body or torso (which is what you see in one of these reconstructions) looks so bloody vulnerable.

Bloody well done, to the people who identified him.

Really Sad about this, Rest in Peace little one
