AIBU to have been inspired in some way by the "stars" of the only way is essex

Not how you might think. These people are shallow, dreadful and rather unintelligent, yet fascinating.

Inspired how? After years of being a frumpy mum who never does anything for or to herself, Ive been watching these people who are so self obessed and realised maybe I should do a little something for me.

Sure they dont have children or responsibilties other than the pursuit of their "beauty" but maybe we should all have a little bit of that, just something we do regularly whether it be the beautician or the gym or even just go that extra mile with grooming.

Im off for a spray tan and vajazzle.

It is very strange how different they manage to make Mark look in the series as opposed to what he looks like in the flesh. He is quite stocky in real life (we saw him out in Central London one evening and chatted briefly).

Mark is doing an appearance at a club near me next month, I'm going to be there for a friends birthday (just happens to be the same night, honest!!)
An appearance? Doing what? Chatting to the crowd from a stage maybe?
I'm soooo excited.

We live near there and I saw two of the "stars" last week. We were stuck in a traffic jam and they were walking towards us so I had plenty of time to gawp. OMG they were orange and really stuck out as they minced down the street. It was the young gay lad and one of the girls. But I agree with you in a way. They were both casual (jeans) but looked very polished. At least I had put lippy on before going out, which is my token effort nowadays!!

Love the show - my guilty pleasure.
Well jel of the amount of time they have to spend on their hair and make-up.
Amy inspires me - she's so carefree and happy and can laugh at herself.
Adore Arg and Lydia's relationship :)

I love TOWIE, Feel utterly ashamed but its just hilarious and I find some of the people endearing TBH
