Does it have buckling legs?

Surely gravity should insist it stays on my scalp?

How the sassoon does it get 2 whole inches down my shaft?

Follicles.

I have naturally curly hair but it's also really fine, and if I have it long it needs washing every day. If I don't wash it every day it's greasy and looks even finer. Really nasty.

I had it cut very, very short (clippers were involved!) this week. I didn't wash it yesterday Shock but I did rub water through it with my fingers to get it to lay properly. I am thinking of trying the 'no washing' but I'm a bit Hmm. When I visit my mum and dad, who smoke, I can smell the smoke on my clothes and hair the next day so how do you get rid of the smell?

I have to wash mine every morning. On the odd occasion that I don't, it kind of seems ok for an hour or two, then by mid morning I can't stand it.
Those of you with greasy hair, if your skin is greasy too (like mine) then I guess that is linked. I couldn't leave my forehead or face for 2 days/1 week/indefinitely and likewise I can't leave my hair.
actually I only focus on my scalp with the shampoo. I only put conditioner on the ends not the scalp.
I try to minimise blowdrying as the hot air (for me) can increase the grease levels.
I really think that some people's hair is significantly more greasy and can get smelly. Possibly it is more porous. Tonight I have cooked roasted veggies and the smell of this will be in my hair in the morning.

meant to add, I have had some limited success with dry shampoo but rarely use it. My hair seems to look and smell ok but "feels" greasy and slightly itchy and not right.
Even with dry shampoo I couldn't leave it more than 2 days.

I'm so glad to have read that there are so many other greasy haired mingers Grin

I really think though that over washing my hair has contributed to it thinning over the years.
