Bloofer - you may beat me, DH does chop wood in a VERY manly way though.....

My DH is far from perfect but today found out I'm having an operation when he has a golfing trip booked. He's cancelled the trip - he insisted though it's been two years since the last one. No hissy fit either! Love him,
.

beesimo · 18/03/2011 22:20

sorry to hear your sad news mutant all the best for the future petx

mutantmonkeymum · 18/03/2011 22:21

No, please (but thanks), bit rubbish but am not looking for sympathy, am fine, just saluting the fine DHs/DPs of this world

Mmmmmmm nothing like a man with a dangerous implement in his hand mutant Grin

Is very lovely that he has been able to care for you and your family though - I got very weepy yesterday over my 15th utter failure to conceive, and I said I was sorry, and he gave me a hug and said "That's all right, that gives me one more month to learn how to be a good Dad."

BlooferLady · 18/03/2011 22:23

(I sound like I was talking about the same man there - you knew what I meant Confused!)

mutantmonkeymum · 18/03/2011 22:28

Bloofer - don't make me weep - he has no DCs? Lovely, lovely man & he wears a uniform??

You win & I raise my (first beer in three months) glass high

OP posts:
BlooferLady · 18/03/2011 22:32

No, we're not getting on very well in the DC department :( But onwards, and there's a mega-moon tomorrow or something right? Maybe that'll do you & I both good ;)

Let's call it evens

kat2504 · 18/03/2011 22:35

Oh bloofer sorry about the babyfail difficulties, I've been trying a while too and I know how important support at home is. He sounds like he is very supportive. I'm sure all the constant calendar watching, testing etc and the monthly roller coaster emotional ride is hard for them too. Wishing you a win next time round.

BlooferLady · 18/03/2011 22:40

Fanks Kat - it's a peculiarly distressing bidnit isn't it? Win-wishes right back atcha - maybe we'll all conceive deeply inconvenient Christmas baybees Grin

kat2504 · 18/03/2011 22:42

Won't be inconvenient for me, prime excuse for not hosting people/cooking a dinner. Not that I had any slight intention of making a christmas dinner! Bring on the xmas Baybees!

mutantmonkeymum · 18/03/2011 22:45

Good luck to you both bloofer & Kat, may decide two is a respectable number & call it a day

OP posts:
BlooferLady · 18/03/2011 22:46

mmmmmmmmmm good point.....quiet Christmas.... no MIL, no teetotal parents BRING IT ON Grin

MissGreatBritain · 18/03/2011 22:46

No, but YABU using the word period. Full stop is much better (and correct).

BlooferLady · 18/03/2011 22:48

Mutant deciding against another DC is often sure-fire way of getting one, I have often observed. Either, good luck to you and your very smashing DH Wine :)

BlooferLady · 18/03/2011 22:50

MGB I think you'll find I THINK YOU'LL FIND that is a question of orthography rather then correctnessessedness

kat2504 · 18/03/2011 22:57

Ha ha maybe if your man is good at putting up with hormonal stuff period might be more appropriate than full stop. Even though it is a blatant Americanism.

mutantmonkeymum · 18/03/2011 23:30

'I THINK YOU'LL FIND that is a question of orthography'

True & thank you - nothing wrong with blatant Americanisms I find, we are two nations divided by a common language - I strive to bring harmony betwxt the two

OP - YABVVU. My DH is the best in the world.

Jacksmania · 19/03/2011 05:21

Sorry but YABEEEEE(extremely)U.
Mine is the best.

GotArt · 19/03/2011 05:28

My friends and I joke about these sorts of posts on FB because usually it means their DH has hacked into their status update and posted it. Grin
