Never been on Netmums before, but the Banned from Starbucks thread intrigued me with all the allusions to hilarious signatures and glitter.

Oh, I may have tarnished the Mumsnet part of my soul, but boy, was it worth it! I haven't laughed so much since, well technically since this afternoon when one of my class said something that really tickled me - but you get the idea..

Judging by some of the threads / posts on here at the moment, I think some of the netmums crowd have decamped over here.

I have been on Netmums for YEARS. I have a load of tickers.(lots of kids) I have sooo many a complaint was made by another member and I had to change the sizes. I dont know who it was but I have an idea .

Tickers are VERY useful. Without them I wouldnt have had any idea how many weeks pregnant I was so i used to check my NM account before my MW appointments. Also good for checking before you go to clinic because they always bloody ask you how old your baby is.

I do find the 'seven days until my period' ones a bit odd though.

Am very tempted to put a ticker on Facebook. Not sure I could take the mockery through...

DD shit her nappy 4 hours & 30 seconds ago. 1 hour & 20 seconds till I need to get off my computer & change her.

I'm imagining mrs with her brood outside the weigh in clinic checking her netmums account to see how old her youngest is

I've also been with NM for years & it was only when a bun fight started over there by someone from over here that I ended up here more.

This is absolutely true.

When I first joined MN I actually thought I was on NetMums. I didn't know there were two sites with slightly different names.

It took me several weeks to find out that I was actualy on a totally different site. I was trapped by then though so I couldn't leave.

I'm only here by accident.
